"The most frustrating thing I've ever attempted"

submission: Coil
date: February 8, 2008

And not in the good way.

Seriously, what the fuck. The lack of instruction only made the game even more tedious than the text did, which when by after, what, a minute of sitting there? With no way to make it go away so you can hurry up and get on with this little fucker, which was interesting enough despite you telling us nothing whatsoever besides that it only uses the mouse. I mean, a bit of help would've been nice.

I was never able to get past the third portion, and have no intention of trying. Frustrating to goddamn tears.

No Mercy For The Damned

"Eerie and cool"

date: October 12, 2007

A bit too short for my taste, but overall an awesome little movie. The symbolism was a nice touch; nothing was too overt or obvious, and the music creeps me out in the good way. I suppose that leaves me an odd one out; I love this for the same reasons other people hate it.

9/10, 5/5

"Epic."

submission: Timebomb

Simply epic.

The beginning countdown could have been more smoothly animated, but after Stick-Man falls down the trapdoor, it's like all hell breaks loose. Words flashing everywhere, nothing making any real sense, things flashing by so fast it gives epileptic people seizures and poor little Stick-Man generally in shock from how chaotic it all is.

Yet...the end is what pulls all the chaos together. Stick-Man pops out of the hole, looking terrified, and as the song fades out, "World" appears above him, like that whole intense ride through insanity was a look at the near future or something.

I dunno, I think too much about stuff this epic, so I give this a 9/10 for being one of the most epic things I've ever seen.

:D
